   FRAUD ALERT — this part does NOT fit the Nissan Maxima.

   Amazon’s «check fit» function CANNOT be trusted for this part.

   Given the difficulty of extracting the original knock sensor from my 1999 Maxima (a tricky operation due to its location), it was a major disappointment to find that the connector for this part does not match up with the OEM wiring harness. The OEM knock sensor connector and the connector for this part are shaped differently. Please don’t buy this mislabeled part.
