I love it. You can see SO MUCH., April 24, 2013

First off, I have a 2004 Honda Civic with every imaginable performance upgrade aside from an all out turbo or K20 engine swap. I have used a Broadway mirror my entire driving life. The Broadways have never let me down. I used to think these looked absolutely horrible but for whatever reason they began to intrigue me (probably because I’m running out of things to do to my car!).
Installation was easy. The «arms» that are used on both sides needed to be bent to give me an additional .750″ on each side since my visor mounting points are 1.500″ wider than the mirror (the mirror is 34.000″ wide). No problem. I did it with two pairs of crescent wrenches. It fits perfectly.
I do not have any more shaking/vibration than with my stock mirror or with the Broadway mirror. I just tightened everything down. Keep in mind that I’m lowered, have very stiff track-ready coilovers (Tein Flex) and drive daily through Los Angeles streets. My ride is very harsh with a ton of road-feel (just the way I like it!). Vibration is absolutely tolerable and not a problem in my opinion.
The actual mirrored surfaces look to have the slightest light-brown tinge to them. I haven’t done any night driving yet so I can’t comment on how bright or offensive the lights, from drivers behind me, are.
I did remove my visors for this to fit. I don’t miss them and rarely ever used them.
The mirror takes some getting used to. I drive in a very upright position (I can’t stand being all laid back in a car; horrible driving position). The mirror is much closer to my face than usual. It does sit closer since it’s using the visor mounting points. It spans so much more width and therefore seems awkward since it’s directly in front of your forehead (I’m short, 5’7″).
You can see SO MUCH. I’m talking about more than I ever thought. If there are cars on either side of me and the front of their car is at the halfway point on my car, I can see the drivers! I CAN SEE THE DRIVERS NEXT TO ME!
I can see my blind spots better now. I still look over my shoulders to check them before moving but it is nice to look up, give a quick glance in the mirror and then look over the shoulder.
Since you see so much more it takes some getting used to. I can see two lanes over in both directions and therefore there is much more movement going on in my mirror. It gets my attention every time. Also, when I’m passing someone and they are on my right, it looks like the car is moving into my lane. This is only because I’ve never been able to see the car just to my left and now I can. It’s a little unsettling but I will get used to it.
The look of the mirror isn’t for everyone but I like it. I think it looks great. It adds so much more visibility to me. I feel more aware when I’m driving and that’s ALWAYS a good thing.

Better Driving View, May 3, 2013

This product really expands the view and eliminates the blind spots. This reduces the need to rotate your neck so much. You can see cars in the 2 right lanes next to your car. And you can see cars in the blind spot on your left. Took me 10 minutes to mount.
