I haven’t changed my own oil in 10 years…,
Honest to God, if it was any simpler, I’d have my kids change the oil. First, make sure you have the oil warmed to running temp in the vehicle. It flows out easily if you do this. Secondly, crack open a beer and wait while it sucks the old oil out. There will still be a little left in the filter, so make sure to have a few rags handy. Third, take it to a recycling place and empty the can. This one time purchase should save about $50 every oil change. Plus, it’s made in the USA, how cool is that? They even have replacement parts with free shipping on their website to help you keep it running smoothly. I highly recommend picking one up.

This thing works SLICK!,
Wife warmed up the car with my daughter (they went to get ice cream and didnt tell us) When they got back, we removed the dipstick, pumped it up and inserted. After loosening the clamp, the oil flowed like crazy right into the can. We had to pump it again because we kept pulling the tube out to see if it was still working.
While it was draining, I changed the oil filter. Just about that time, it started slurping like somebody finishing a milkshake..
My dad arrived and had his doubts. We inserted the dipstick and pulled it out. Came back bone dry.
We filled it with 8 quarts and packed up.
Job done.
took about 10 minutes to drain the warm oil.
As my son said:
» This thing works slick!»
Pun intended!
