I cleaned the window, licked the cup, pressed firmly and twisted the base to activate suction. It sticks well. Not sure why other folks are having so much trouble?

Purchased to observe nephew in child safety seat in back seat of car by attaching to windshield. Suction cup separated from mount after 10 minutes. I have modified the strap mount to allow me to use an existing windshield mount I already have to attach the mirror.

Poor design.
