Affordable and effective.,
Only con I can think of, is that it is hard to find locally.
Plus, one bottle will last years or many applications. This has a permanent home in my garage.

Say goodbye to dull/yellow/ugly headlights!,
It’s easy, just apply the polish to a soft cloth, rub in a circular motion, then buff with another clean/soft cloth. The yellow began to disappear, to my amazement. Pleased with those results, I went ahead and purchased the sealer. Prior to applying this sealer, I did another half dozen or so applications of the restorer polish. My headlights were much much clearer and brighter, and the yellow was GONE! Now, extremely pleased with the restorer results, out came the sealer. I sprayed the sealer diectly onto the lens (as stated in the directions on the bottle), then wiped with a clean/soft cloth. I then, did a second application with the sealer, and let it dry overnight. When I came out to my truck in the morning, I was like…»WOW»! That’s how bright/clear and shiny my headlights were, now. They were very very close to looking brand new.
The only thing I wish I would’ve done, was taken a few before/after pics. Between the restorer and sealer, I couldn’t be happier. The best part is, no sandpaper is required. Just apply to a soft cloth, rub and buff, it’s that easy. So, if you’re considering paying a «professional» to restore your yellowy/ugly headlights, try the restorer and sealer, first. The results look wonderful, and your wallet will thank you, too! One final thing, another review mentioned this product being «hard and messy». Well, it actually couldn’t be easier. There’s nothing «hard and messy» about a few quick sprays and buffs. I think in total, it took me maybe five minutes to polish and seal both lights, and NO «mess». Obviously, the more applications you decide to use, it will take a bit longer. But, five-ten minutes give or take, will make your ugly headlights smile again. 🙂 I’m still gonna purchase new lights all the way around the truck. But, for a mere fifteen bucks or so for the restorer and sealer, I’m more than pleased with the results.

This is the one step that so many miss…,
Here is the magic combo, even for OEM light lenses that are so yellowed that the original film is peeling.
A water bottle, a high speed hand drill, micro fiber cloth, 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System, some Meguires PlastX, and this Blue Magic Headlight Lens Sealer and about an hour or so of time.
A large majority of people and even professionals will completely miss this final step. When that happens you end up with lights that are clear after restoration for only a few months before they fog up again. The original lights of most modern cars have a plasctic film on them that is supposed to act like sun block and protect the plastic from the environment and possibility of drying out and becoming brittle. If you do not reapply a sealer AFTER restoring and polishing the lights, then they may become damaged sooner than you would expect.
After every headlight restoration and detailing a car, I put a coat of this on the lights with a microfiber cloth after polishing them. Make sure to carefully wipe any excess off painted surfaces before it dries.
I use this on my own cars and after 6+ months of brutal California sun, pollution, saly air, and road gunk, the lights on my 20001 VW passat and other cars are still crystal clear.
I would reccomend this to amateurs and professionals alike if you cannot find or afford the professional grade plastic sealers.

Good enough,
I didn’t like the high beams, the light is too diffused, but maybe this is due to my 1998 Ford Explorer’s factory headlights. I heard people complaining about Explorer U2’s headlights many times. Note: my headlights are clean, have just used Sylvania cleaning kit on them, so it’s not due to dirt or other stuff covering them. As for the low beams, they’re definitely good.
Oh, and don’t be mislead by the name, as many people here remarked, there’s nothing blue about them. The light is whiter than with regular bulbs, but not blue at all. Not that I wanted it to be blue, no, the color temperature is fine for me, this is just to let you know that if you want light with bluish tint, CoolBlue isn’t for you. But I’d like to warn you that blue light is very bad for rain or fog, as it’s absorbed and you see nothing (that’s why they make fog lights yellow). Also, bear in mind that usually halogen lamps (not HID) which are supposed to give color temperatures like 4500 or even 5000 K, use color filters (you’ll notice the bulb is really BLUE, with CoolBlue it’s only slightly bluish) which simply cut some part of the spectrum to produce HID-like light. As it’s easy to understand, these bulbs actually produce LESS light, and or course, it’s nowhere near an HID lamp. CoolBlue seems a good balance to me between color temperature, price and efficiency. So that’s my choice.
