   NASTY! I bought this to replace a Boss IQ400.4 that (I thought) I fried. I’m using it bridged to power a sub box with (2) Audiobahn dual-voice-coil 10″ subs, and hoooooooly F, dude. This. Thing. Cranks! I got it for $55 «used» through Amazon Warehouse Deals and it’s worth well more than that. It pounds. Absolutely pounds. I have everything under 200Hz cut from my car speakers, and sent to the box, and gaw-deeyum, dude. The thing SLAMS. I had to turn it way down. It’s definitely more amp than I need for the box, but for five bucks over fifty… yes. ALL YES.

   I bought the Boss PT1000 Phantom Amp specifically to drive 2 Boss NX694 6×9’s. It’s a seriously wicked cool combo ! Crystal clear perfection. Great bass. Great value for any price. This is a quality built amp and the back light looks awesome. I highly recommend this amp.
   UPDATE : Newer truck-new system. Boss 508UAB Head Unit, Boss NX654 Door speakers-Boss P69.4C Rear speakers- Boss AVA1210 7 band Equalizer- TWO Boss PT1000 Phantom Amps and 2 SSL SLR8 Dual Voice Coil Subs. AMAZING ! I’m a BOSS Audio and SSL fan for life ! Crystal Clear- You will feel like you are AT THE CONCERT-FRONT ROW CENTER !

   Please, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS AMP. It claims 300 watts per channel @4 ohm but it’s no where near that good! (I got the PT1600) This product is getting returned ASAP. I was using a 900w Piooner amp (GM-A5602) before I hooked this one up and the 900w pioneer amp hit so much harder! The funniest thing is, the 900w pioneer amp is fused at 80amps, but this supposedly 1600w amp with 600rms total @ 4ohm is only fused at 50 amps, what a joke! This amp can push a maximum of 600 watts without the fuse blowing!!
