   I drive a 2012 Kia Soul where I’ve always had to have both the aux and USB plugs in to play music from my phone. I just upgraded to an iPhone 7+, and, of course, that was no longer an option due to the iPhone dropping the 3.5 jack. I ordered this chord along with the recommended 30 pin to lightning adapter and it works perfectly! It actually registers my iPhone now on the display, showing what track is playing and allowing skip control from my steering wheel. For anyone in the same boat as me with an older car and the iPhone 7, this is the perfect solution.

   Paired with the official Apple Lighting to 30pin adapter, this worked perfectly in my 2010 Kia Soul for my iPhone 6s Plus. I was worried aftetr reading other reviews, but this cable worked great. A knockoff lighting to 30 pin cable I bought did NOT work, but I verified the problem to be the knockoff adapter and NOT this cable.

   Charging is a bit slow compared to wall charging or using a normal car charger, but still charged at an acceptable rate and definitely faster than playing music/games/GPS at the same time drained it.

   I bought this for use with my 2013 Kia Soul. I have an iPhone 6, so I bought an adapter to be able to use this. I got this cord first, so I tried it with my moms iPod nano, from around 2008. It worked perfectly, just the way I wanted. However, after receiving the adapter, I tried it with my iPhone 6. It did not work. It can sense something is plugged in and charges my phone, but I can’t play music. I don’t think it’s the cords fault, I think it’s just the iphone 6. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to buy this for an iPhone 5 or 6. I would recommend just purchasing a usb and loading music on it, and using that to listen to music. Or using blue tooth. that is what I am doing! 🙂

   Perfect replacement part and the easiest install ever.

   PRO:
   Super fast install. You need a small flat tip screwdriver to pull the pin on the old pump.
   Installs in less than 3 minutes for both pumps.

   CON:
   The pump is a little longer than the factory ones, so the gate comes up about 2 inches higher than before.
   The install is so quick, I couldn’t milk it out and get out of other chores.

   Wow! Took only 4 minutes to swap out the old ones and put these on. Even came with a small screw driver to pop the old ones off. Plus two of these cost less than what one costs at my local auto parts store.
