   All the spinner knobs listed here have the same design flaw: the knob is _beside_ the steering wheel, not _on_ the steering wheel, so the clamp is never tight enough; the clamp always slips sooner or later so the knob falls out of a usable position.

   Instead, go to Lowe’s and get a spinner knob for a riding lawnmower for $5-$10 less. The clamp goes on with an Allen wrench. The knob is ON the steering wheel so you can’t ever push on it too hard! The knob is flatter, but that’s an okay tradeoff.

   It’s nice to have a plain steering wheel knob, and this one fits the bill. It does have a couple of problems, though… One, the paint easily scratches off the knob – there are parts of mine that are the brown color of the plastic below. Two, the manufacturer needs to include different thicknesses of rubber spacers in the package. The standard steering wheel of my minivan is too thin for the connecting hardware and the rubber spacer isn’t enough, I had to find my own rubber spacer.

   I am a rural mail carrier and use this on my Blazer. I sit on the right hand side and drive. This helps so much and makes life a little easier. I find now that when I sit on the left side and drive I really use it a lot. I think I would have one in any vehicle I drive now.
