   I bought these for a 2003 Ram 1500, and they are just like the original equipment. They come with new headlight bulbs, but you have to use your existing turn signal bulbs. While shopping, I read that many had a problem of the replacement lights sticking out 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. There is a little plastic adapter part you have to remove from the outside guide post and then they fit perfectly! They were packaged very well, and are perfectly clear and shiny. These lights make the truck look new again, at least in the headlights!

   I got this set of headlights for my 2002 ram. They fit fine. Look wonderful and make the truck look new again. The adjustment screws are metal rod instead of the OEM plastic ones I had originally. Time will tell about how long it will take for these to haze over like the OEM. Just remember to remove the outer square body clips over the turn signal so they fit perfect in the finder. Otherwise they will stick out 1/2 inch. These lights come with amber turnsignal bulbs and Headlamps installed.

   The headlights were missing the up down adjustment cam so I could not adjust them properly, Had to figure another way to adjust them. It was a PITA

   Initial impression is that these bulbs light the roadway slightly better than the stock bulb in my Honda Odyssey. The difference could be because I am comparing a brand new bulb to one that is over 5 years old. The price however made the choice a no brainer as the XtraVision was nearly the same price as buying the stock item from my local store. On the Osram Sylvania website, it says that the primary filament life of the 9006 bulb is 850 hours as opposed to 1000 hours for the standard bulb. If they last as claimed it’s worth it. Just FYI, as per the Osram Sylvania website, SilverStar Ultra should last 300 hours, SilverStar zXe and SilverStar 200 hours, XtraVision 850 hours, EcoBright 725 hours and the Standard bulb 1000 hours.

   Install was not the easiest buy not overly difficult. Remember to never touch the glass portion of the bulb with your fingers as this type on contamination could severly decrease the life of the bulb.

   It is brighter than the original factory one on the car. A good compromise between dim original factory and the overally bright intense white light bulb. I like this bulb better than the overally bright intense white light bulb because the intense white light bulb has a short lamp life and is expensive to buy. Also, in the surrounding darkness, the intense white light actually decrease depth perception and objects contrast because it intensely illuminate only in one direction (forward); similar to when you take a flash photo at night without additional surrounding illumination.

   These bulbs are about twice as bright as the stock bulbs that came with my car. I took a before and after picture with my Nikon DSLR and the ISO setting dropped in about half. I may have gone with the even brighter Silverstar but the lifespan concerned me. I would recommend these to replace stock bulbs.
