I ordered this product 10 months ago. Electrically, it works as it should. Windows go up, windows go down. However, if you’re like me and care what your truck looks like, you’ll want to order a different switch. From the beginning, the finish began to wear off of the button I use the most, the drivers window. I have to swipe into the parking garage at work, and I have to swipe into my community at home. At a minimum, the window is up and down 3-4 times a day. Apparently, the paint on these switches isn’t up to that duty cycle. It has rubbed off almost completely.

The final straw came as I was cleaning my door with Armor All. A protectant. And the paint wiped off with Armor All.

The seller chose not to stand behind their product, citing a 6 month warranty. Odd that the first switch lasted 9 years and the paint never came off at all.

So if you need something that works, buy this one. If you want it to look good while it works, get a different brand.

Installs in 5 minutes and and burns up in less time. After installing this switch and driving less than 5 minutes it was smoldering and melting itself. I was lucky enough to remove it before it caught fire.

Works decently as far as plugging in the harnesses go and using the switches (with one big exception), but there are two major issues with the unit I received:
1. The assembly does not fully snap into the plastic trim piece on my door (2008 Crown Vic)
2. The «one touch down» automatic switch for the driver’s window was totally useless and inoperable. I know it’s not my car, because I got so tired of the replacement one that I pulled about five from my junkyard until I found one that worked and the automatic down works fine on it.

With those things aside, it’s an alright switch and I guess that’s the price for not buying a brand new OEM switch.
