This «27 watt, 60-degree» light way over-powers a similar «27 watt, 30-degree», side-by-side, on my tractor.,
Initially, both (THIS-«60-degree» and its —a different review— «30-degree» complement) lights were aligned with the same center-beam spot (aimed at the ground at the base where the post hole auger tip was resting when the tractor was parked). With coincident center-spot beams, and lights on opposite fender-wells, light comparisons were easily made since each light’s cross shadow of the auger were each filled in by the opposite light.
This light (this «60-degree» light) is BRILLIANT!!
The shadow of the auger, from the —other review!— «30-degree» light was obliterated by the brilliance of this «60-degree» light’s output. The pronounced shadow from this «60-degree» light was somewhat lightened by the opposite «30-degree» light but the difference was so pronounced that it required a check; Was the competing light even turned on? Yes! It’s just that this «60-degree» light (and they are both nominally «27 watts») was so much more brilliant that it looked as if the other light wasn’t turned on.
Both lights had the same 13.3 volts supply, equivalent short runs of #14 «Primary» wire, «0» ohms resistance to ground, etc.: Identical operating parameters.
I’m ordering a SECOND one of THIS light (and relegating the much dimmer «30-degree» light to a role with my spare «starting» battery/solar panel and a motion sensor for illuminating a gate).
Whether «60-degrees» or «30-degrees», the light output from THIS («60-degree») light is so vastly superior to the other light that an over-analyzed (30 -versus- 60 ? ) installation is immaterial to the actual requirement; the best lighting for the PTO near-in area and the trailing area, behind, the tractor is obtainable with TWO of THIS light. The other (weak, «30-degree») light comes off the tractor as soon as I receive the second one of THIS light.

so far so good,
I put two of these on the front of an airboat, lights up more then I need it to. < probably 200 + feet of good light >
On top of that the lights seem well built, are fairly heavy and seem to have a good lens. I will be buying more in the future!
