I was a little concerned that I might have an issue with this carburetor being the right one for my tiller. I did the research and looked at the breakout diagrams from numerous sources. Some lined up with this carb, but others did not. I was very happy with the fact that all I had to do was remove the old one and replace it with the new one.
One thing that would have been nice to know was that the gasket for the carb to the engine was included. I purchased one from a different source. I did not know that I did not need it until I received the carb.
So far so good though. I have already put several hours on the new carb using the tiller in the garden.
As expected with a new carb, easy one or two pulls of the rope and it cranks right up.
Shipping was awesome! I ordered over the weekend, got it before the very next weekend; right when I needed it! The wife had made plans for me that weekend to till some dirt for our garden. All other sources for this carb looked to take much longer for delivery. Glad I went this route!

The carburator has a pump to prime the carburator (squrt gas in the throat) to assist with the cranking. I mash the pump twice and the motor cranks right up. I runs 5 seconds and goes dead. I can pump again and it cranks right up and runs 5 seconds and goes dead. I can crank the motor and continue pumping for about 4-7 minutes until the motor warms up and then it will run. If you only pump and then crank it take from 25-40 crankings for the engine to warm enough to run on its own. I tried increasing the idle speed and it helps some but after a few minutes of running the idle speed is so high it engages the «slip» clutch because the rpm of the motor is so high. I can idle it down when it is throughly warm but have to idle back up to keep it running. As long as I am there to «do» the procedure to keep it running, my Grandchildren can use the go-cart. With out Granddaddy—no ride. There is a flaw in the carburator. There are no adjustments except for idle speed. The carb works if you have 15 minutes to warm it up before the kids want to ride the go-cart. My carb has a flaw. It could be just mine. It is not worth returning and not having the kids a ride when they come. If it had a choke to restrict the air in to the throat is might run when cold but it doesn’t.
