Awesome!!,
I called the dealer to program these and was quoted $90 to program them. I told them I had ordered them from Amazon and they informed me that Dodge’s software will not work with these remotes and therefore they can not program them. They then told me it was $125 per remote from them if I wanted them to program them I could buy them from them. So it would be a total of $340 to get 2 remotes and get them programmed from the dealer. I was up and running for less than $100. After calling about 10 locksmiths in the area one of them gave me a different guy’s phone number. So you may need to call many locksmith’s before you find one that has the programmer that costs several thousands of dollars.
Also if you have 2 or more remotes currently you can program these yourself.

So far so good!,
Here is the kicker, if you have AT LEAST TWO working fobs, you can program your own remotes – for free. So let’s do the math, two replacement fobs for around $20 vs calling a locksmith or (gasp) the dealership to have keys made for $200 – seems like a no brainer.
Unfortunately, there are several key fob manufacturers who tell you that you have to get a locksmith to program these fobs regardless of how many you currently have. Not sure why they are saying that when it isn’t true. Here is what I did to program my remotes:
1. Get in the van with all the remotes you have. Remember, you HAVE to have at LEAST TWO working remotes to do this. If you don’t, sorry, you are out of luck, you’ll have to pay a locksmith to program these fobs.
2. Take one of the two working keys, insert it into the ignition switch, and turn the key to the ON position. DON’T START the van.
3. Wait 10 seconds.
4. Remove the key.
5. Repeat this process with the SECOND working key fob. After ten seconds you should see the security light turn on. This tells the van is ready to program a fob.
6. Remove the key.
7. Insert the fob you want to program. Turn the key to the ON position and DON’T START the van. Wait 10 seconds.
8. Remove the key.
9. Reinsert the newly programmed key into the ignition and try to start the van. If you did everything above correctly, the van will start.
To program the other remote, repeat the entire process.
Hope this helps!
