Great Plug For a 1st Gen Scion xB!!,
According to NGK’s website, these are gapped at .039 (1.0 mm) and the 04-07 Scion xB owners manual calls for a .032 gap. I did NOT modify them to account for the slightly larger gap than spec. These ARE one of the recommended plugs for this vehicle if you use NGK’s product finder on their website. For that reason, I left them alone and haven’t been disappointed by their performance.
The attached chart shows the material & lifespan these NGK plugs, as well as some others. For around $10 – these plugs have incredible value. You won’t be disappointed installing these in a 1st generation Scion xB.

Wow.. What a Difference in Acceleration and Runing Smooth As GLASS now.. 2002 Subaru Forester!!,
I had 118,000 miles on the Original Plugs and wires… When I removed the Old Plugs you could tell there were SPENT…
These New Plugs are PRE GAPED… So you don’t need to GAP them at all.. Just remove the Old Plugs, Hand Screw these new ones in and Hand Tighten till they are Sung… Easy Job.. Took about 1 hour taking my time.. You can Remove the 2 Blots that hold the Windshield Washer Fluid Tank in place and Move it around so you can get Easy Access to the Plugs and Wires… Then on the other side, Unbolt 3 Blots that hold the Intake in place and you have Easy Access to the Wires and Plugs…
The Difference is AMAZING… Runs Smooth as Glass now.. Much Smoother and more POWERFUL Acceleration.. Even Shifts Smooth as Glass now…
Best $$$$$$$$ I ever Spent!!!!
