   These are the 9″ brakes and not the 11″ brakes. They do NOT fit my truck as the «shop by vehicle, product checker» suggests. Dodge made two different sized drums for the Dakotas of this era, the 9″ and the 11″. There should be a measurement in the title or the tech write up that indicates the size of these brakes. Some brands do have that information on Amazon and some do not. One should not have to rely on the «technical expertise» of other buyers nor should they need to cross-reference part numbers at a different automotive site just to figure out if these brakes actually fit. If I didn’t know that there were two distinctly different models of drum brakes for Dakotas of this era, I would likely have mistakenly ordered the wrong parts, which these are.

   Note: I did not buy these brakes. These are probably excellent brakes, it’s just that Amazon needs to tweak their «Product Checker» and include the different sized items for different vehicles of the same model and year.

   Good quality brake shoe replacement. Have had on for a couple of months now and they work well and continue to be quiet.
