   I bought these for a 2002 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. At the same time I replaced the rotors (too thin to machine) with Brembo OE style blanks (Brembo 25554, also on Amazon). Have put about 2000 miles on these and lives up the Quiet name. They stop well as best I can tell, but on a heavy front wheel drive car these pads aren’t exactly stressed.

   Just be sure to to have some brake cleaner and a brush handy to clean everything. If you don’t buy new brake hardware kit be sure to clean the buildup where the pad plate slides int he caliper as the material wears; this can be a source of noise in my experience.

   Also, if you’re replacing the rotors I recommend you clean the hub with a dremel and 280 grit abrasive buff (or use the 3M 07547 Scotch-Brite Roloc kit, also on Amazon). I have a brake dial indicator that was measuring EXACTLY the runout limit of .004; cleaned the hub and got .002 on the passenger side and .001 on the driver.

   I was impressed with a similar set of Wagner pads that I had put on my ’09 Prius, so when the time came to replace the rear pads on my 2006 Honda Civic EX these were the first set I considered. Just like the pads I put on my Prius, these are low dust and quiet. I drive in heavy traffic every day and tend to have a lead foot on the few stretches of open road I see, and these have held up just fine. They do not come with caliper grease, though, so that’s something to keep in mind if you are replacing these yourself and don’t have an auto parts store nearby.
